This class is for ages 13-18 and will be held at Open Window Theatre (Inver Grove Hts) every other Monday from 4:30-5:30 PM during the 2023 fall semester. See below for specific class dates. The participation fee covers all expenses for eight classes in the semester, including in-class materials and end-of-semester showcase refreshments and gift.

DISCOUNTS

Multiple child discounts apply to siblings within the same family and all registered for the same semester. Multi-child discounts apply across all class options and must all be registered at the same time. If you wish to register additional children at a later date, you’ll need to contact our office to have the appropriate discount applied: 612-615-1515.

DEADLINE & REFUNDS

Registration deadline is two weeks prior to the first class. All registrations are final. No refunds will be issued except under the following circumstances: 1) If OWT, for whatever reason, is unable to place your student in a class; 2) If OWT cancels a class and is unable to reschedule.

ABOUT “YAA”

Youth theater from a Christian worldview. Open Window Theatre’s Young Actors Academy (YAA) offers top-quality theater education and performance opportunities for youth ages 4-18. Our semester-based educational classes run every other week in the fall and spring, and participants in our semester classes receive first-priority registration for our summer musical and other performance opportunities.

YAA students will gain confidence and develop creative talents as they participate in skills-based acting games & activities. All classes incorporate prayer along with a character-building element and are taught by professionally trained Christian theater artists. All are welcome, from all backgrounds and experience levels. Students will learn a variety of skills that will benefit them for their entire lives!
